Greetings! I'm Kristie Barba, the proud owner of M:25 Hair Studio. It's hard to believe that 1994 was so long ago, but time truly flies when you're having fun. I can hardly fathom that I've been in the hair industry for 30 years now! This field is constantly evolving, and it's our responsibility to stay updated with education and training so that we can better serve our guests. As they say, "It takes a village," and that rings true within our salon walls. I love working as a team, bouncing off ideas and sharing color formulas. Sometimes, we even invite other stylists to ensure we find the best solution for our clients' desired results.
Throughout the years, I've found my passion in working with curly hair. Finally, it's gaining the recognition it deserves. Curly hair requires special attention and unique treatment compared to other hair types. That's why it's my specialty. I love helping clients embrace their natural curls, especially when they've struggled for so long to make their hair do what they want. If you're unsure where to start, come to me. My consultations may be lengthy, but effective communication is crucial. I want to show you that curly hair is manageable. Plus, considering our location, straightening curly hair is simply a waste of precious time. On a personal note, I have an incredible husband of 18 years and three amazing children named Abby, Emerson, and Wyatt. I'm also blessed with four grandchildren, with another one on the way. Let's not forget my furballs, Mikato, Bear, and Gracie. When I'm not working, you can find me enjoying the beach, boating, or working on various projects. I never seem to stop, to say the least.
I firmly believe that God has given each of us gifts and talents to help and bless others. When our hearts align with God's, that's when we see great things happen in and around our community.
