Amanda Dames

My name is Amanda Dames, I’m originally from Brazil and have lived in this country for 23 years. I’m married to a South African and we have a daughter together. I love doing hair. It’s my passion, hobby, and therapy. Working on coloring takes me to a happy place. When people ask me what made me choose hair, I laugh and always answer “Hair chose me “. I started back in 2010 doing the Brazilian keratin treatment for friends in my garage and before I knew it, I had a full schedule, 3 years later people were coming for color, especially blondes. I work with Brazilian wax as well as full body, henna eyebrows design and I’m a colorist who absolutely loves doing blonde hair. I believe that when I have someone in my chair I have a responsibility not only with them but also with God to make sure that when that person leaves they are much happier than when they came in.
